Biography
Jeff has served the College as district enrollment director for the last eleven years, coordinating local recruiting and alumni interviewing activities. He has been on the Alumni Council and has served as class agent and alumni interviewer. He has organized alumni events with the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network and lectured at Tuck on entrepreneurship. At Dartmouth, Jeff graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, belonged to Phi Delta Alpha, and worked as a TA in the French and economics departments. He received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1982 and currently serves on the management board there. Jeff is general partner of Norwest Venture Partners, a technology investment firm, and was previously cofounder and CEO of Edify Corporation, a publicly held software company. Jeff and his wife, Amy, live in Atherton, CA, and are the parents of Laura '08, Katherine '10 and Molly '15.

Statement
I have been fortunate to have been closely involved with the Dartmouth community on several fronts over the years and have an enduring love for the College. I regard Dartmouth as a singular institution with unique strengths that we must nurture and grow over time. Toward that end, we alums have the privilege to nominate exceptional alumni to serve as trustees of the College. The executive committee's primary role is to ensure open and transparent alumni trustee elections and to encourage widespread alumni participation in the voting. I would be honored to continue to serve Dartmouth alumni in this role.
